Attracting Jewish medical/graduate school students, & PhD candidates in every field from around the city, MAMASH! CHABAD is actively building an organic community of young intellectuals who seek a space in which to socialize, learn and of course eat!

Centered around our work with students attending Thomas Jefferson University, Chabad provides weekly ‘lunch n learns’ on campus, special Shabbatons (including Center City’s first-ever Jewish Medical Ethics Shabbaton & Conference), holiday programming on and off campus as well as weekly Shabbat meals and prayer services.

MAMASH! CHABAD also serves as the only Jewish student center for the various arts and music colleges in Center City.  Whether organizing concerts, art exhibitions, or theatrical performances, Chabad provides a space for Jewish creativity & collaboration.
